Book design for a Typography Studio class on a collection of essays by Gui Bonsiepe and Michael Beirut.
Created for a Graphic Design class - Negatives is a short story written by my sister Jennifer Albright. I created the layout design, and illustrations.
The challenge was to create the branding, packaging, and a look book for a fictional clothing line we created. BROAD is a size inclusive clothing line for women.
Created for a Typography class. Bessie is named after Bessie Stringfield- The first African American woman to ride her motorcycle across the country. I created the cover design, layouts for two different stories, as well as all the content.
We were assigned a typeface with the challenge of creating a set of playing cards using only the typeface to create the shapes, suites, and box. I was assigned the typeface bender and was inspired by the mechanical style of the type. I modeled the shapes and colors after a vintage vacuum cleaner company.
Poster designed to showcase the font Helvetica.
Created for a Typography in Design class. We had to create a festival for a fictitious music festival. I was inspired by Motown music and wanted to create a poster that looks like it was from that era.
